Kelsey Chrisco is a fifth grade teacher at Cunningham School. She was born and raised in Carmichael, California and attended Sierra College in Rocklin, California. Ms. Chrisco received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from California State University, Stanislaus. She also earned a Multiple Subject teaching credential from CSUS.
Prior to teaching at Cunningham School, Ms. Chrisco taught lesson in tennis and piano.
She is a member of the Social Club and the Mathematics Committee. Ms. Chrisco is also the liaison for the City of Turlock After School Education and Safety (ASES) program.
Joy Gonzales is a member of the fifth grade team and is the fifth grade Gifted and Talented Education teacher at Cunningham. She was born and raised in Denair, California. Ms. Gonzales has two children and two horses.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a multiple subject teaching credential from California State University Stanislaus.
She comes to Turlock Schools by way of Keyes Elementary in Keyes and Fair Oaks Elementary in Oakdale. In addition to these local schools, Ms. Gonzales had the unique experience of teaching in a small school in Tanzania, Africa.
Ms. Gonzales is a member of the Science Fair, Talent Show, and Garden committees.
Mr. Volk is currently a member of the Cunningham School 5th grade team. He comes to this position after a successful year as a 6th grade teacher.
He was born and raised in Turlock, California and attended Turlock schools: Julien, Dutcher Middle School, and Turlock High School. He is married and has a baby girl whom he has nicknamed, "Chunk-A-Dunk".
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California Santa Cruz, a Master of Arts degree from San Jose State University, and is currently attending California State University Stanislaus where he is completing the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership program.
Before teaching at Cunningham School, Mr. Volk taught middle school students at Twin Lakes Middle School in Santa Cruz, California.
Mr. Volk is the Technology Lead at Cunningham providing teacher in-service training with all things digital. He is also a member of the English Language Arts committee.
